These Terms of Use ("Terms" or "EULA") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity, and Pridy Inc., concerning your access to and use of the Pridy mobile application and the pridy.net website (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Service and must discontinue use immediately.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE RESTRICTIONS
The Service is intended solely for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If it is discovered that an individual under 18 has created an account, Pridy Inc. will immediately terminate the account and permanently purge all associated data.
2. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC) & COMMUNITY STANDARDS
Pridy allows users to upload photos, record short voice clips ("Drop a Line"), write text prompts, and send real-time chat messages. You are solely responsible for the content you publish or transmit on the platform. You expressly agree not to post, submit, or transmit any content that:
- Is illegal, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, or vulgar.
- Displays explicit pornography, non-consensual sexual content, or graphic, unsolicited violence.
- Promotes hate speech, discrimination, racism, or bigotry against any individual or group within or outside the LGBTQ+ community.
- Impersonates any person or entity, or features unverified, deceptive, or fraudulent identity markers.
3. APP STORE & GOOGLE PLAY UGC SAFETY MANDATE: REPORTING & BANNING
To ensure a safe, secure, and respectful ecosystem, and in strict compliance with mobile application marketplace developer rules (specifically regarding User-Generated Content rules enforced by Apple App Store and Google Play Store), Pridy enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive users.
- Reporting Mechanism: Users can flag or report any profile, media, message, or user interaction that violates these Terms directly via the in-app "Block and Report" features available on every profile and chat screen.
- Human Moderation Review: Pridy operates a dedicated, internal 24/7 human moderation team. Once a user or piece of content is flagged, our moderation team will review the reported account and material as swiftly as possible.
- Account Banning: If the moderation team verifies a violation of our community standards or these Terms, the offending user will face immediate disciplinary action. This is not limited to hiding content; the violating account will be permanently banned from the platform. Pridy Inc. reserves the absolute right to ban any account instantly, without prior notice, liability, or right to appeal.
4. SERVICE FEES AND PRICING
The core features and matching communication services of Pridy are currently provided to you completely free of charge. Pridy Inc. reserves the right to introduce premium add-ons, extra algorithmic features, or tiered subscription packages (such as PridyExtra) in future updates. Any modifications to our fee structures will be communicated clearly in subsequent updates to these Terms.
5. PRIVACY POLICY INTEGRATION
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is located at pridy.net/privacy. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge and agree to the collection, usage, and distance-filtering metrics handled under our Privacy Policy.
6. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Pridy Inc. makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the platform's content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pridy Inc. will not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the jurisdiction of registration for Pridy Inc., without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms at any time. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms to stay informed of updates.
